I'm back with another Weaber Lumber project because I just can't get enough of these wall boards, and neither can my clients!! This particular client has the dreamiest farmhouse and they were contemplating stone around their fireplace. That is, until they saw my feature wall (here). Not only do these boards flow with the existing beams on the mantle and around their home, but it was far less labor and much less expensive than stone. A no-brainer; and what a statement this makes too! This before and after speaks for itself...

Installation of these boards around the fireplace is the same as my video tutorial here. These multi-colored boards are available at your local Home Depot for $24.98/box, so cost for this project was approximately $325 as 13 boxes were required. You need to account for 10% extra in scraps when measuring how much product you'll need. All of that information along with supplies needed is covered in my video tutorial as well.

Check out a sneak peek of the gray boards here, and stay tuned for another project coming soon with the white wash boards (which are my absolute favorite, by the way!!). The great thing about these boards is that they can be used for so much more than just walls and I can't wait to share what I've got up my sleeve for my next project!
