Step-by-Step Highlight and Contour (HAC) for Beginners

In 2018 I vowed to simplify my life and my business in any and every way possible. Then I thought it would be a good idea to add becoming a Maskcara Artist to my plate.

*smacks forehead*

But I promise there’s always a method to my madness, guys! I put this step-by-step highlight and contour for beginners video together to show you how simple your makeup routine really can be.

Switching to this product has simplified my daily routine immensely by adding 20+ minutes back into my day.

When you’re going nonstop (who isn’t these days?!), 20 minutes is huge.

Once you get the application of their IIID foundation down, which is the highlight and contour, then it only takes about 5 minutes and your whole makeup routine takes 10 minutes. I prove that in the post I did about my 10-minute daily makeup routine. The proof is in the pudding!

This video is about how to HAC (highlight and contour) for beginners. I’m using only the essential products we recommend when you first get started using Maskcara.

H A C  P A C K

  • Highlight
  • Contour
  • Blush
  • Illuminator
  • 30 second HAC Brush
  • IIID Perfector Sponge
  • Stay Outside Setting Spray w/ SPF

I also want you to know that becoming an artist isn’t a salesy thing for me. I’m a TERRIBLE salesperson. If you want to try it then I can color match you from wherever you live (contact me for selfie color match details), and you can purchase it through me. If you’re only interested in my techniques rather than the products I use, then that makes sharing all of this just as much worth my time.

My interior design business keeps me plenty busy so joining Maskcara isn’t about income.

It’s about me wanting to share what I love and helping other women feel beautiful in their skin rather than hiding behind layers of makeup. I was one of those women who hid behind the layers and it has been so liberating and exciting to feel like I’m enhancing rather than covering and constantly retouching throughout the day. That is all a thing of the past!

Hope you enjoyed and I’d love to answer any questions you have in the comments below.

XO,
Christina
